Document Description
THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO FILL A DEEP GULLY ADJACENT TO THE INTERSECTION OF POWERLINE ROAD AND MEAS TRAIL. THE HUNGRY VALLEY STAFF WILL BE REPAIRING DRAINAGE PROBLEMS AND GULLIES ON POWERLINE ROAD IMMEDIATELY ABOVE THIS INTERSECTION. SOIL SPOILS FROM THESE GULLIES WILL BE UTILIZED TO FIT THE DEEP GULLY. THE ROAD INTERSECTION WILL BE UTILIZED TO FILL THE DEEP GULLY. THE ROAD INTER- SECTION WILL BE SLIGHTLY REALIGNED TO MINIMIZE POST PRO- JECT EROSION POTENTIAL. RECONTOURED SLOPES WILL BE STAB- ILIZED AND RESEEDED BY DISTRICT STAFF UTILIZING SEED COLLECTED FROM LOCAL NATIVE GRASSES AND WOODY PLANT SPCEIES. PROJECT WILL IMPROVE RIDERSHIP SAFETY AT THE INTERSECTION.
