Document Description
THE SONOMA COUNTY DEPT. OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS WILL CONSTRUCT AN INTERMODAL TRANSPORTATION FACILITY AT SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF CITRUS FAIR DRIVE AND ASTI ROAD NEAR THE CITY OF CLOVERDALE. THIS FACILITY WILL ACCOMODATE DIFFERENT TYPES OF TRANSIT: IT WILL SERVE AS A PARK AND RIDE LOT, A BUS TRANSFER TERMINAL, AND EVENTUALLY AS A RAIL STATION. IMPROVEMENTS WILL INCLUDE FIVE BUS BAYS, A LOADING AREA, PASSENGER DROP OFF AREA, 90 PARKING SPACES, DRIVER RESTROOMS, AND A TERMINAL BUILDING. THE FACILITY WILL BE BUILT ON A THREE ACRE PARCEL PRESENTLY OWNED BY THE STATE OF CA.
