STANISLAUS COUNTY DEPT. OF PUBLIC WORKS PROPOSES TO CON- STRUCT A NEW BRIDGE CROSSING AT THE SONORA ROAD CROSSING OF LITTLE JOHN CREEK. THE NEW BRIDGE WILL BE LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE EXISTING BRIDGE AND WILL BE A 2-TWO, 220-FOOT CONCRETE BOX GIRDER BRIDGE. THE EXISITING BRIDGE WILL BE USED AS A DETOUR DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW BRIDGE AND REMOVED WHEN THE NEW BRIDGE IS PLACED IN SERVICE. THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED THROUGH THE HWY BRIDGE REPLACMENT AND REHABILITATION PROGRAM.
