Document Description
PROJECT INCLUDES REPLACEMENT OF THE VEHICLE BRIDGE OVER SYCAMORE CREEK THAT WAS DESTROYED IN 1995 STORMS. THE BRIDGE PROVIDES THE ONLY VEHICLE ACCESS TO BACKCOUNTRY LOCATIONS. DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS ARE INTENDED TO IMPROVE THE WATER HOLDING CAPACITY OF THE CREEK BY REDUCING THE CONSTRICTING INFLUENCES OF THE BRIDGE. NATURAL AND CULTURAL FEATURES OF THE SITE ARE BEING AVOIDED AS POSSIBLE.
