THIS PROJECT WILL PROVIDE TRAPPING, SPAWNING AND REARING OF CHINOOK SALMON. APPRX. 43,000 CHINOOK SALMON WILL BE REAR- REARED FOR RELEASE IN THE SPRING AND FALL OF 1996 INTO WATERS OF THE MATTOLE RIVER SYSTEM, AT SITES APPROVED BY THE DEPT. OF FISH AND GAME. ALL OF THE WORK WILL BE PERFORMED USING HAND CREW LABOR.
