AN EXISTING LEVEE WAS DAMAGED DURING 1995 WINTER FLOODING MANAGEMENT OBJECTIVE IS TO RESTORE NESTING AND BROOD POND HABITAT FOR WATERFOWL. THE DAMAGED LEVEE WILL BE REPAIRED UTILIZING 50-CUBIC YARDS OF PRE-EXISTING FILL FROM THE OTHER LEVEE SECTIONS AS WELL AS 50 CUBIC YARDS OF 14-INCH MINUS ENGINEERED ROCK TO BE HAULED IN ON-SITE WORK WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED WITH A FRONT-END LOADER WITH A
