The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), prepared an addendum to a previously certified Environmental Impact Report (EIR). Pursuant to authority granted under Division 4.5, California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Chapter 20, DTSC approved the Hazardous Waste Facility (HWF) Permit renewal for the Industrial Service Oil Company, Inc. (ISOCI) Hazardous Waste Facility (Facility), for ten additional years. DTSC received a permit renewal application for the Facility as authorized by the California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5. The Facility is located at 1700 South Soto Street, Los Angeles, CA 90023 and operates under a current HWF Permit. ISOCI receives, stores, and processes petroleum waste such as used oil, wastewater, waste antifreeze, and oil/water mixtures.
