The maintenance activities proposed to take place within streambed and riparian habitats include the following: removal of sediment from an approximately 1,000 sf area downstream of each basin inlet (two inlets, located at the southeastern portion of the basin); annual removal of cattails and sediment within approximately 5,000 sf portion of the low flow channel; removal of sediment and vegetation within a 50-ft radius of the basin outlet (located at the northwest portion of the basin); and annual removal of non-native vegetation. The proposed maintenance will cause ongoing disturbance to a total of 0.23 acre of habitat subject to FGC Section 1600 et seq.
