The Proposed 2000 Fresno General Plan would confine urban growth to the City's existing Sphere of Influence. Residential densities would be increased from the present city-wide average of 15.3 persons per residential acre to 16.1 persons. More emphasis is placed on the establishment of activity centers with mixed uses and intensified development corridors.
