Document Description
Note: Revised
The proposed project would involve three primary elements, including: (1) an ~4,500 linear foot extension of Olivas Park Drive between Golf Course Drive and Johnson Drive; (2) an ~5,800 linear foot levee/floodwall; and (3) a General Plan Amendment and Zone Change for several parcels within an ~79.88 acre area located northwest of the proposed Olivas Park Drive extension and levee. The proposed land use changes would allow for the development of the project areas with ~1,258,000 sf of commercial uses and 75,000 sf of industrial uses. Additionally, the proposed roadway extension and levee construction would trigger the closure and abandonment of the Montalvo Municipal Improvement District's wastewater treatment facility and the construction of appurtenant infrastructure to redirect wastewater flows to the City of Ventura Wastewater Treatment Plant.
