Document Description
The proposed project entails stockpiling up to 1.1 million cubic yards of soil from the Buena Vista Landfill on 21 acres of a 41 acre project site (comprised of two parcels) located on Harkins Slough Road just north of the landfill. The soil would be excavated as part of the planned landfill development, transported and stockpiled at the project site over a two-year period, and ultimately returned to the landfill over the next 17 years for use in daily landfill cover and final closure activities.
