Document Description
The project involves the County purchase and use of two adjacent agricultural properties to temporarily relocate and stockpile up to 1.1 million cubic yards of soil excavated from the Buena Vista Landfill. The project would utilize 21 acres of 41 acres on the two listed parcels. Once stockpiled, the soil would be returned to the Buena Vista Landfill in small daily increments over the next 20 years for use in landfill covering operations. Requires an amendment to the Development Permit for the Landfill, a Coastal Zone Permit, and possibly a Riparian Exception.
