The Project includes design and construction of the 2.2-mile Downtown Rail Extension, also called The Portal, build-out of the below-grade train station facilities at the Salesforce Transit Center at First and Mission streets, and construction of an underground rail station along the Downtown Rail Extension alignment at Fourth and Townsend streets in the City of San Francisco in San Francisco County.
