Document Description
The proposed project consists of refinements to the previously approved Downtown Rail Extension (DTX) that was evaluated in a 2004 Final EIS/EIR and subsequently modified through six addenda between 2006 and 2011. The DTX will extend rail service 1.3 miles underground from the current northern Caltrain terminus at Fourth and Kings Streets into the new Transit Center (currently under construction) and will also provide a northern terminus for future high speed trains in downtown SF.
