The purpose of the Amador Creek Bridge Rehabilitation project is to meet current bridge structural standards, improve the safety and operation of the bridge and surrounding road segments, allow the bridge to carry permit loads in addition to legal loads, and improve the hydraulic capacity of Amador Creek at the bridge location. Amador City considered the ND prepared by Caltrans (SCH# 1995062009), as well as updated technical studies.
