THE PROJECT WOULD INVOLVE THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO NEW BUILDINGS WHICH WILL BE BUILT ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF CAMPUS TO HOUSE THE RELOCATED AND PROPERTY AS WELL AS MAIL ROOM AND WAREHOUSE FUNCTIONS. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE RECEIVING STORAGE SPACE, MAIL ROOM, AND RELATED OFFICE FACILITIES ADEQUATE TO ACCOMMODATE THE PRESENT EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS FOR THE STUDENTS AT SDSU. MOVING THE CAMPUS RECEIVING AND PROPERTY, MAIL ROOM AND WAREHOUSE FUNCTIONS TO THE PROPOSED LOCATION WILL PERMIT LARGE TRUCKS TO ACCESS THE CAMPUS WITHOUT IMPACTING THE CAMPUS CORE.
