THE DISTRICT'S OBJECTIVE IS ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INTEGRATED VEGETATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. CONROL OF VEGETATION, BOTH AQUATIC AND TERRESTRIAL, IS NECESSARY FOR FLOOD CONTROL, WATER CONVEYANCE, AND FIRE CONTROL. THE PRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF THE VEGETATION MANAGEMENT IS TO SUSTAIN THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF DISTRICT FACILITIES.
