TO RENDER SAFE, RETRIEVE, AND REMOVE ORDNANCE FOUND ON THE WEST RANGE SINCE AN OVERALL CLEANUP OF ORDNANCE HAS NOT BEEN CONDUCTED SINCE 1985. ACTION IS AUTHORIZED & REQUIRED BY AFR-50-46 "WEAPONS RANGES". ACTION WOULD ENSURE SAFETY OF ALL PERSONNEL ASSOCIATED WITH THE PIRA & INCREASE SUCCESS OF THE AF WEAPONS DELIVERY TESTING PROGRAMS.
