Document Description
Applicant seeks a permit to divert up to a total of 100 acre-feet (AF) of water per annum from two unnamed streams (a.k.a. Dairy Creek and Big Rock Creek) tributary to Nicasio Creek, and from Nicasio Creek tributary to Lagunitas Creek thence Tomales Bay in Marin County. Reservoir 1 will be an onstream reservoir diverting from Nicasio Creek which will require enlargement of an existing 40 AF capacity reservoir to a capacity of 94 AF. Reservoir 2 will be an onstream 2 AF capacity reservoir diverting from Dairy Creek and Reservoir 3 will be an onstream 4 AF capacity reservoir diverting from Big Rock Creek. Water will be diverted during the period of December of each year through April 30 of the succeeding year for fire protection, recreation and wildlife enhancement purposes.
