Document Description
The project involves the construction and operation of lethal electrified fences at 27 existing and planned prison facilities. The fences are designed to provide perimeter security at the prisons. The project may result in the incidental take, through electrocution, of 55 species of wildlife, some of which are protected under the California Endangered Species Act. CDFG is therefore issuing a California Incidental Take Permit ("Permit") for those species.
