Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under Division 4.5, California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Chapter 20, is approving a Class 1* Permit Modification (Modification) for the Hazardous Waste Facility Permit. The Modification will allow the permittee to accept recycled oil and exempt oil and combine it with used oil and/or waste oil at the Demenno/Kerdoon facility. The mixture will be treated at the facility. The additional materials will be received and stored in Unit 4 and other designated existing tanks. The new materials will be treated in one or a combination of Unit 6 (dehydration), Unit 7 (distillation), or Unit 8 (the Naphtha System). The location, operation, and function of the units will remain unchanged. No changes in capacity, or construction will result from the additional allowable materials.
