Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20 is approving an Addendum to a previously certified Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for Temporary Authorization to facilitate timely implementation of closure or corrective action activities for Tank 55001 and recommence using associated tanks for the storage and treatment of used oil, waste oil, and recovered oil at Demenno-Kerdoon, dba World Oil Recycling (D-K Compton). DTSC prepared an Addendum pursuant to a previously certified 2000 EIR to evaluate activities associated with the Temporary Authorization request. The Temporary Authorization will permit D-K Compton to clean out Tank 55001 per requirements under Section 66270.42(e)(3)(c)(1), to facilitate timely implementation of closure or corrective action activities. The Permit does not include any changes in operations or ground disturbing activities. D-K Compton is located at 2000 North Alameda Street in Compton, California 90222.
