Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2004-0513-R5 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, California Department of Transportation. The applicant proposes to alter the stream to conduct a new six-lane freeway extending approximately from I-805 to the Otay Mesa Border Port of Entry, two auxiliary lanes between Route 125 and Airway Road, and right-of-way for two additional high occupancy vehicle lanes. To construct this freeway, the following drainage improvements will need to be included: replace existing pipe drainages, build retention and detention basins, build bridges, build curb and gutter, and create earthen-bottom drainages.
