Document Description
On May 23, 2023, the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors (Board) conducted a duly noticed public hearing and adopted a resolution approving the Los Angeles County Revised Countywide Siting Element (Project). The Countywide Siting Element (CSE) is a long-term planning and policy document that identifies the proposed management and disposal of solid waste generated in the County of Los Angeles (County) in accordance with the Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plan. The purpose of this Project is to update strategies, policies, and guidelines to address solid waste disposal needs of the County for a 15-year planning period, as mandated by the California Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989.
