Document Description
The F-22 IOT&E program will test and evaluate the F-22 aircraft in as realistic an operational environment as possible to estimate the prospective system's military utility, operational effectiveness, and operational suitability. Four F-22 aircraft will be based at Edwards AFB, pilot training flights will be conducted within the R-2508 Complex airspace in California and the Nellis Range Complex (NRC) airspace in Nevada and Utah, flight tests representative of combat scenarios will be conducted in the NRC airspace. Operations would occur within existing airspace and airspace parameters. No construction or modification of facilities would occur.
