Document Description
The Santa Rosa Subregional Long-Term Wastewater Project involves certain improvements to the treatment plant, condtruction of a 35 mile long buried transmission pipeline which can supply a constant 11 mgd of reclaimed water from Delta Pond to the Geysers steamfield for recharge via a network of distribution pipes in injection wells. Four-pressure pump stations will lift the water in steps up to the geysers. Some of the remaining flow of the wastewater from the Subregional system will be used to supply the existing discharge system at a rate that will not exceed 5 precent of Russian River flows. The project also includes certain contingency measures to prevent excess discharge.
