The proposed project is Stage II of the Corrective Action Program (CAP) Phase II. The CAP Phase II consists of expanding the existing groundwater pumping and removal system (CAP Phase I) to more effectively capture and contain the spread of groundwater contamination. CAP Phase II has been divided into two stages; Stage I was the drilling of seven groundwater extraction wells, several associated monitoring wells, three new replacement monitoring wells, and the abandonment of three existing monitoring wells.
