Document Description
The project will consist of four (4) mitigation ponds on a site dominated by vineyards. Located on the West Branch of Llagas Creek, in the foothills west of Gilroy. This creek flows into Miller Slough. Three (3) of the ponds are intended as mitigation for California tiger salamander and one (1) for southwestern pond turtle. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0582 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Mr. Ron Davis.
