Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (#2000-0006) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, LCRI Investments, L.L.C. The applicant proposes to substantially impact both the main branch and the west branch of Refugio creek, in Hercules, Contra Costa County, as part of the development of a 106 acre site. On the west branch, the crossing will be widened by 125 feet. In addition, two temporary railroad bridges will be installed with no impact to the stream. A new creek corridor is to be constructed 180 feet by 2600 feet long on the main branch with the Alfred Nobel Drive extension crossing also to be built on this stream. In addition five modified outfall structures are proposed within this project area.
