Document Description
The Los Angeles to Pasadena Metro Blue Line project was approved in 1990. The approved project includes the construction and operation of a light rail system from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to the City of Pasadena. A Final EIR and two SEI reports have been prepared and certified for this project. In addition, two prior addenda to the previous EIR have been adopted. Additional minor project changes now being made include: the opening of three intersections identified as closed in the previously approved project design; project enhancements, such as a linear parkway and landscaping; selection of a quieter operating light rail vehicle; and a pedestrian bridge instead of an underpass for access to the Sierra Madre Villa Station.
