The school District proposes to undertake the acquisition of approximately 21.49 acres of unimproved real property for the construction and operation of a middle school for the benefit of the School District and the public it serves. The property proposed to be acquired is within Patterson Ranch, a planned development project which is a sub-area of the Creekside Project. The Creekside Project consists of approximately 646 acres located on the west side of the City of Patterson. The City of Patterson certified an EIR for the Creekside Project in 1994 and approved, a Negative Declaration for Patterson Ranch in 1996.
