Document Description
River Islands at Lathrop is a proposed as a mixed-use residential/commercial development project on 4,905 acres on Stewart Tract and Paradise Cut. The project includes an employment center, a town center, dock facilities (1,360 docks what would accomodate up to 1,525 boats), residences (11,000 units), and golf courses. It also includes various flood management elements; construction of back bays, channels, and other water features; biological habitat restoration/creation; and retention of natural lands. Proposed offsite project elements include an electrical transmission line, a natural gas pipeline, and a road extension to Interstate 205. The project also includes amendments to the Lathrop General Plan and West Lathrop Specific Plan and involves various entitlements.
