Document Description
RD 2062 is proposing to install 6 "check dams" along the landside levee slope and toe of the left bank of the Old River and the right bank of Paradise Cut. RD 2062 has changed the location of the check dams it approved in 2020. The check dams will slow velocities and reduce scour potential. This project also includes placement of rip rap at 2 locations to reduce scour potential. This project was evaluated under the 7th Addendum to the River Islands EIR.
