Document Description
Growth in the northwest portion of Modesto has made it desirable to construct a new fire station in the area. The City of Modesto acquired property at the southwest corner of Pelandale Avenue and Carver Road for the construction of the Pelandale Expressway. The remaining portion of the property can be utilized to construct a new fire station. The fire station will initially house a single engine company, but will be capable of housing an additional truck or ambulance. Three on-duty personnel will initially staff the Fire Station, but the living quarters will be designed for up to 8 on-duty staff.
