Document Description
The proposed permitting activity is for the abandonment of five wells within the Huntington Beach Oil Field, Orange County. Work will involve cleaning out and placing cement plug to surface. All wells will include squeeze hydrocarbon markers BFW/USDW as needed, confirm cement to surface between all annuli, and perform leak test for surface plug. The plug and abandonment of wells is contemplated once production has come to an end or if a well is deemed to be unproducible. The wells will be abandoned to California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) standards.?The project activity being permitted by CalGEM is within the scope of the Upper Main Zone Cooperative Waterflood Project. CalGEM, as the CEQA Responsible Agency, approved permits for CRPC to abandon the wells listed below, in the Huntington Beach Oil Field in Orange County. API # Well Name Latitude Longitude 0405903269?
