Document Description
The Simi Valley Community Development Agency (the "Agency") and the Simi Valley City Council (the "City Council") originally adopted the Tapo Canyon Community Development Plan (the "Development Plan") in 1980 (the "Original Project Area"). The Development Plan was subsequently amended to add territory on three occasions. The third amendment to add territory to the Development Plan also merged the project with the West End Community Development Project (individually, the "Tapo Canyon Component Area" and the "West End Component Area"; together, the "Merged Project Area"). Since adoption of the Merged Project Area, the Agency has been active in alleviating blight in the Merged Project Area through a variety of public improvements, new developments, rehabilitations programs, housing assistance programs, and other activities.
