The proposed project is a comprehensive update to the City of Tracy General Plan, which was last comprehensively updated in 1993. The project involves reorganization and revisions to existing elements of the existing General Plan, such as refining the City's land use designations descriptions and locations and including new goals, objectives, policies and actions. The project also includes new Elements to the General Plan. The Draft City of Tracy General Plan contains the following nine elements: Land Use, Community Character, Economic Develoment, Circulation, Open Space and Conservation, Public Facilities and Services, Safety, Noise and Air Quality.
