Solano County GP designates this site as "Wind Resources Area." A-160 Zoning. Present Land Use: Rolling hills with non-irrigated farming and grazing. Wind turbine generators are being constructed on-site, based on previous SMUD approvals.

Document Description
The SMUD-Solano Wind Project proposes up to wind turbine generators on a project site of approximately 3,500 acres. The nominal generation capacity of this project will be approximately 100 Megawatts (MW). The individual towers will vary in height, with a maximum highest project to be 125 meters (approximately 412 feet). This height dimension includes the rotor with a maximum diameter of 90 meters (approximately 300 feet).
