Document Description
SWRCB, as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The North Marin Water District - Pt. Reyes proposed project included drilling, sealing, and otherwise constructing a well and all associated facilities that are required to have the facility approved by the SWRCB Division of Drinking Water as a public drinking water groundwater supply source, then constructing appurtenant facilities required to enable use of the well for emergency water supply to the Point Reyes Station area. As a minimum, facilities to be constructed initially would include a cased, sealed well and other appurtenances required to produce the highest obtainable water quality, and a temporary power source to operate the well for testing purposes.
