Document Description
The project entails 1 stream encroachment for aggregate extraction from the channel of the Mad River for commercial purposes. The Permittee legal entitlement with Humboldt County is for the extraction of up to 50,000 cubic yards of gravel annually from the Emmerson Bar, however, due to over extraction concerns on the Mad River the annual extraction has been curtailed by NFMS, and Emmerson Bar has averaged 9.000 cubic yards annually in last five years.
