Document Description
The proposed project consists of expanding the capacity of Salinas Reservoir by placing an operable gate in the existing dam spillway thereby: 1) reducing the City's water supply deficit by approximately 1650 acre feet per year on a safe annual yield basis; 2) increasing the total storage capacity of Salinas Reservoir to provide the City with greater flexibility in the use of its water resources; 3) to allow the City to enjoy the benefits of its Water Rights Permit and to exercise its existing water rights thereunder.
