Document Description
Amend the text and Diagram, Figure V in the Community Facilities Circulation Section, of the Modesto Urban Area General Plan to allow access to Class B and Class C Expressways for Non-residential properties provided certain criteria and access standards are met. The new text and maps include engineering standards for safety and efficiency so that the capacity and efficiency of the expressways will not be degraded as a result of the amendment. The recommended standards include adoption of the farside (within the first 1,000 feet of an arterial/expressway intersection) off-ramp, with a minimum length of 850 feet.
