Document Description
This is an application to rezone property containing 2.83 acres located on the west side of Tully Road South of West Union Avenue from R-3 to P-D as an addition to P-D(527). The existing P-D(527) was approved in 1998 for the mini-warehouse facility located immediately north and contiguous to this proposal. The expansion of this self-storage development will extend south 276-feet along the Tully Road frontage and have a depth also equal to the existing storage facility. The zoning and land uses immediately surrounding the proposed expansion include: P-D with the existing storage facility to the north, R-3 zone to the west development with a mobile home park, P-0 and C-2 zones to the south developed with office and commercial uses, and R-2 and P-D zoning with multi-family uses to the east across Tully Road. The applicant's plot plan indicates the proposed expansion will allow five seperate one-story storage buildings which will have overall heights of approximately ten feet. These structures provide a total of 65,400 square feet of additional floor area for this complex.
