Document Description
CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA # 1600-2014-0168-R6) pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, County Sanitation District No. 2 of Los Angeles County, represented by Mr. Christopher R. Salomon, County Sanitation District No. 2 of Los Angeles County, 1955 Workman Mill Road, City of Whittier, State of California, 90601, Phone (562) 908-4288. The Applicant is proposing to partially demolish the existing culverts and add concrete box drainage culverts at two locations along the drainage channel adjacent to the rail spur at the MRL, the construction of a 100-foot transitional modification in the channel on each side of each culvert, the removal and reuse, to the extent practicable, of portions of the riprap and filter fabric in the channel, and the addition of new riprap and filter fabric at each location. A total of 0.78 acres of permanent impacts to jurisdictional streambed and a total of 0.23 acres of temporary impacts to jurisdictional streambed will result from the construction activities.
