Document Description
The new SWFP will allow the combining of Sunshine Canyon County Extension Landfill of 542 acres and Sunshine Canyon City Landfill of 494 acres for a total of 1,036 acres. The total disposal area for the new Sunshine Canyon City/County Landfill will be 363 acres. The Sunshine Canyon City/County Landfill will allow for a maximum permitted daily tonnage of 12,100 tons of waste materials/day or 66,000 tons per 6 day week plus 6,600 tons per week of exempt waste, for a combined total of 72,600 tons/week.
