Document Description
Amendments are proposed to the Downtown Pomona Specific Plan to implement strategies to encourage mixed use development in and around the downtown core area, primarily by allowing for increased residential intensities and flexibility in mixing residential uses with retail, entertainment, office, light industrial, institutional and parking uses. Strategies to capitalize upon the existing downtown transit center are an integral component of the proposed project. Amendments would provide more clarity concerning permitted uses, add more guidance regarding design and development standards, strengthen historic preservation requirements and establish more formalized project review and approval procedures to implement the specific plan.
