The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0025-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Mr. Jim Johnson representing Wallen and Johnson Construction Company. The project is limited to one encroachment for aggregate extraction of up to a maximum 12,500 cubic yards of gravel annually while maintaining an average extraction rate of 10,000 cubic yards from the channel of the South Fork Eel River for commercial purposes.
