Document Description
Modification to previously approved Surface Mining and Conditional Use Permits for the extraction of 40,000 cubic yards of sand and gravel aggregate from a 3 mile reach of the Van Duzen River near its confluence with Yager Creek. The applicant is requesting reconstruction of the extraction limit based upon submitted cumulative impact analysis supporting extraction of up to 200,000 cubic yards annually. All other aspects of the project 9 e.g., on-site processing, stockpiling, and hauling) are proposed to remain unchanged as per the approved project conditions and restrictions, and the mitigation measures identified in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report, certified on October 28, 1997.
