- The proposed project is to construct a bypass of Highway 25 on the east side of Hollister. The Bypass is designed as a 70 km/h (posted 35 mph) four-lane-north-south urban arterial with six lanes south of East Park Street. The proposed improvements would relieve congestion in downtown Hollister and improve traffic circulation in and around the city by providing a new through traffic facility to serve increasing travel demand.
