The City's current General Plan Land Use Map is part of the 2005 General Plan. The Land Use Map provides land use designations for the entire City. The Watsonville Vista 2030 General Plan will replace the current Land Use Map and General Plan.
Document Description
Watsonville Vista 2030 is the City of Watsonville's update of the current General Plan. The EIR is being re-circulated because of legal issues associated with the original EIR certification. The re-circulated EIR focuses on three major issues including airport land use, Regional traffic impacts on Hwy 1 and the inclusion of another alternative for analysis. The amended plan also includes a green house gas section to address issues resulting from the adoption of AB32 after the GP was originally adopted.
